But more egregiously, the only information that I was looking for was WRONG. And has been wrong for more than two years! This is unforgivable in a book published in 2008. The item in question is Jeff Change Pottery and Fine Crafts, 539 Kailua Avenue. Not only does this address not exist, but when I called the phone number listed, they informed me that they had not had a shop in Kailua in over two years. Since our hotel was near their other shop in Waikiki, 2250 Kalakaua Avenue, I walked over there. Not only were they NOT there, but since I no longer had the book with me, I couldn't call them and find out where they really were, if anywhere at all. Most of their hotel information seems second hand and not from actual experience. They also do not mention the best restaurant on the island, Chef Mavro's on King Street. I cannot recommend this book at all. ( )
