A book of free verse. While I was at first discouraged by her poems, as I read on, I was more and more impressed. I don't read all that much poetry (something I mean to fix) so it took me a while to get into it. (Of course, afterwords, I find myself reading prose as poetry. Very odd sensation.) Going back and re-reading poems also brings a more holistic sort of sense to them, and is much more enjoyable than the first go-round. While I don't think she's going to make any breakthroughs in the realm of poetic verse, she is very skilled at what she does, and is a good read. One thing, though, is very much for sure - Moxley will expand your vocabulary! 8/10 ( )
