b) The Barefoot Bride by Linda Goodnight. Kansas, 1883, a woman posted an ad at General Store for a husband. She was believed to be a witch. A doctor came to town and didn't practice. It was well written and made me so thankful that I can display some of that "craziness" myself!
c) A Homesteader, A Bride & A Baby by JoAnn Grote.
c) MN 1878, Lorette's sister past away b/4 she arrived w/ Diphtheria. 9mos old boy survived.
d) A vow Unbroken by Amy Rognlie, Littleton 1881. Seven mos. pregnant Caroline arrived by stagecoach. Became housekeeper & marriage w/out personal gratification. She loved God more. Good story...he showed her love and they united as one. ( )
