He started playing for Manchester United's team at the age of 16 and played his first professional game at 18 years old. David helped this team win gold at the FIFA World Cup in 2001. In 2003, he started to play for Real Madrid. He didn't want to retire from the sport he loved so much, so in 2008 he became a member of the LA Galaxy, and now works on a coaching staff for a team out of London. My reaction to this book was that I don't know much about soccer. After reading a short biography about Beckham, I learned a lot about soccer that I didn't know. If I were a p.e. teacher, I would use this book to encourage my students to be physically involved in a sport at a young age. Kids need to be involved in some type of sport while they are young, and I think soccer is a good sport for kids to play. I could also use this book as a tool to help kids begin to think of an athlete who they like that could be a role model in their life for them growing up. ( ) sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
