It contains the same information about restaurants and can't miss places to see, but what I appreciated was the insider information about housing, money and traveling within the country.
One of the best parts of the book is the section about walking London. The authors outline several possible walks through the city that take you past landmarks and fantastic things you'd want to see anyway. I used this part a lot and saw some beautiful things on foot!
I do suggest buying an up to date copy as several things have changed. (I didn't realize that we wouldn't need a picture for our transit cards until we'd already taken the picture!) I love the way the book is organized. It's so interesting that you could feasibly read it from cover to cover. You won't be bored and you'll be armed with valuable information for your trip.
Just be sure to read it several months in advance. A lot of the advice is for your benefit WAY before you set off. ( )
