Fourteen original stories of female vampires.

As with any anthology, I liked some of the stories more than others, but overall this was a quite good collection of stories of female vampires. The fourteen selections were all exclusive to this volume, so I hadn't read them before (with the exception of the (long) Niven selection, which was later published in one of his Ringworld novels - not my favorite). I only really liked one of the stories, "Survival Skills," which was pretty funny, tongue in cheek. The rest took themselves way too seriously. ( )

A series of short stories and an interesting read in some incidents, others are a bit blah. ( )
