He is not excited about the idea and does not understand why this change has to happen. His mother and a new friend help him to see the good in the move. Sweet story. ( ) This book by Audrey Penn is another one of my favorites. Once again, the illustrations are wonderful and help enhance the reading. I thought her language and writing was very clear throughout the text. I really like how Audrey Penn includes different parts of her stories into her other stories. For example, in this text Chester is sad because he doesn't want to move to a new home. The mother racoon ends up incorporating the kissing hand into this story to help Chester not feel so afraid. I really enjoy her stories because they are so realistic in terms of struggles that kids go through. Her stories are very relatable to little children. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
