Worm attempts various jobs for his animal friends so that he can buy painting supplies and enter an art contest. Some of the tasks he does are harder than he expects. ( ) Worm is trying to raise money to buy paints in order to paint for an art contest. He babysits a child, and almost looks the baby when the buggy slips. This book has few math concepts. It covers time, money, and small ideas for children to raise money. In a classroom setting, I would make small addition and subratrion word problems based on the book. For example, Worm was paid $9.75 for babysitting. If he purchased paints for $4.80, how much money does he have left? This book is set up like a comic book, which nearly every kid enjoys. It teaches kids that if you want something you have to work to earn it. It isn’t just given to you. It also teaches kids not to give up after the first try and to keep trying and to do what you love. I rate this book a 5out of 5. The story and pictures are nice and it teaches good morals. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
