This was a great early hit with both my kids, starting at maybe 10 months (and one of them did not like books then). It's a lap size board book where colors are associated with a famous art work on one set of pages, and with photographs on another set of pages. Little windows are strategically cut into the pages to highlight the color and detail. It's beautifully done, but it's the windows the really fascinate toddlers and pre-toddlers. ( )
