It had a few poems from each holiday. My favorite poem was "The witches ride" i liked it because it was spooky, it also flowed very well. Another one i really liked was "Fourth of july night" It was about all the bright colors and at the end it was funny because the auther ended it with "and i dont ever have to go to bed, to bed, to bed, to bed." Personal Reaction: This was a great poetry book because it had poems for just about every holiday. It would be a good book to keep on your classroom shelf all the time. Classroom extension ideas: This book could be used as a read aloud during a holiday. i cold also have the kids write a poem about their favorite holiday. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña

REVIEW
I appreciate that this book includes some holidays even I have never heard of. For instance, I have never heard of Pancake Day or Purim. I also like that it includes holidays that aren't traditionally holidays. The book includes End of Vacation and Children's Book week as holidays. I think this is a fun way to expose students to various holidays without overwhelming them like an anthology might do.I also like that there is a heading on the top of pages to indicate which holiday is being focused on.
