I have to admit that I didn't hate this one but also it just wasn't my vibe. It could be because literally 90% of it is through email and sometimes I just struggle to keep track of who is doing the sending haha. Basically C accidently emails T while in high school and this sparks an email that continues every year on Valentine's day. You get to see the slow progression of a friendship and a slight flirtation as they share more and more details with one another. It's a cute novella. The premise is sweet and I think it was as realistic as could be expected. It had some pretty clear plot twists that you see coming immediately. Yet, it still has that romantic flare that makes for a sweet read. I think I honestly would have enjoyed it way more if it wasn't mostly email conversations. I liked this short story/novella by Christina Lauren. I love a good epistolary type romance and this one starts out with emails between the two characters on every Valentine's day. The interaction between the two characters started by accident, but they keep it up once a year for literally years. I am not usually a fan of novellas or short stories because I like time for the build-up and more depth. This one, however, worked for me. I felt like there was a beginning, a middle, and a satisfying conclusion. We are able to see where the characters end up in a HEA and I love that. My favorite in the collection. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
