Rick and Hailey both come from horrible pasts but they have found their own way with a little help here and there. Hailey works as a journalist but is a talented artist and her job is to try to get an interview with Rick, but he isn’t one to do interviews for reasons only he knows. When a chance meeting occurs things start to get interesting. They fake date to help his image, this also might help her get her break she needs, but what they don’t see is that what starts fake slowly turns to real. With so many things happening, the past coming back to haunt them, people out to take them down can they rely on each other or will all this destroy them? This was such a fun and suspenseful sports romance that keeps you guessing, laughing, and swooning. ( )
