This particular "pocket" New Testament (9781563206641) is one of the worst pocket NTs that I've seen. The size is too big for shirt pockets though it will fit in a back pocket of jeans, which would be ok except that its thickness makes it a bit tighter than usual for pocket NTs, and that and its inflexible spine could do some pocket damage and make it not good for leaving in while sitting. Worse than that, the NT is preceded by some 25 pages of "The Drama of the Bible" notes that miss the mark and are very unhelpful . I razored out the pages, since I didn't want to waste the 5 copies I ordered for distribution, but each of the New Testament books is also preceded with added notes of varying quality, and those notes I could not razor out. Readability is at best fair, since he print is not as thick or dark as seen in other NTs. There are much better, similarly priced options available. ( )
