Welcome to the space station! This book is filled with all the tips and tricks you need to know, should you find yourself on the ISS and in need of a snack. Most pages have a special tip, like "Avoid burps," use a straw clamp between sips, and use the fuzzy fasteners to keep things from floating away. In addition to fuzzy fasteners and straw clamps, astronauts use special, long-handled spoons to reach into food packets, and can grow fresh salad from "plant pillows." Back matter includes extra info about safe food preparation, water, sense of taste, space-grown produce, and variety - missions to ISS last from six months to a year. Book and online sources are listed. Super fun and informative! Would make a good nonfiction read-aloud for elementary students learning about space. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
