For fans of Bridgerton comes a Regency-era romance graphic novel about the unexpected passion that blooms from a marriage of convenience. The whole town is whispering about how Catherine Benson lost her virtue, though they can never agree on the details. Was it in the public garden? Or a moving carriage? Only a truly desperate man would want her now -- and that's exactly what Andrew Davener is. His family's estate is in disrepair, but Catherine's sizeable dowry could set it to rights. After the two wed, Catherine finds herself inexplicably drawn to Andrew. But could falling in love with her husband tear her marriage apart? In this richly detailed Regency romance, duty and passion collide in a slow-burn tale of intertwined fates.… (más)

I got a lot of Pride & Prejudice vibes from this graphic novel.
I liked the clean, cozy-colored art. It had a very comforting feel.
Other reviewers have stated that the pacing is slow and they are not wrong. However, I thought it worked well for the story.

Content: some panels showed a lot of skin (easy to flip a couple pages to skip it since it is obvious what is coming) ( )

This is a historical romance told in graphic novel form. It was mildly diverting (I do love me a marriage of convenience trope!), but there wasn't much to it, and I found the art work pretty lame. I am not much of a GN reader (though I did enjoy GN adaptations of Animal Farm and Heart of Darkness) so YMMV.

(My rating scale translation: Some redeeming qualities, but I wish I’d read something else) ( )

The artwork complemented this story so well. It was delicate and lovely with thin linework. At times, I did think the heads were a little too long though.

This is an inclusive, Bridgerton-ish tale. But I’m sorry I just couldn’t care about Catherine. Baby girl was dull. I understand the conflict she had with Andrew no one wants to feel like option #2., but it also felt like she creating problems/self-sabotaging.

On the other hand, I really enjoyed Gemma's, Andrew’s sister, struggles with grief, introversion, and social anxiety. ( )
