I really enjoyed reading this book! I was waiting for Levi's story, and it was worth the wait! There are lots of familiar characters and some new ones. The characters are all well rounded- personable, and relatable. Levi is my favorite! He's sweet, steadfast, calm, and tender hearted.
There are some difficult circumstances, but there is hope of a brighter day!
The love story is romantic and sweet! There is nothing objectionable or racey. The setting of Prince Edward Island is serene and picturesque! Liz Johnson really brings the island to life!
There is some mild intensity with Levi's father, who had disappeared years ago.
I enjoyed the theater aspect. It really brought the community together.
This book is a fantastic Christian romance! It could be read as a stand-alone, but reading the other books in the series helps to relate to the characters. It is a definite must read!

This is the third book of the Prince Edward Island series and it's a wonderful addition to the series. Lighthouses are appealing to me, so I was immediately drawn to the beautiful cover but the story inside is what made this book so special! Author Liz Johnson gives readers one of the best boyfriends/heroes ever! Levi Ross is a man of few words so this makes what he says even more special. His romance with Kelsey Ahern is both sweet and heartwarming, along with their joint efforts to save the Victorian Playhouse. These two are meant to be together, if...they can both work through some personal stumbling blocks!

Summer in the Spotlight is the perfect way to wrap up this series and readers of the other two books will enjoy a reunion with the other two Ross brothers. I recommend this book to all who enjoy contemporary Christian romance.

This is the third book of the series and my first read but a stand alone read. It is my first read by Liz Johnson.
A hurricane has destroyed the community theater on Prince Edward Island but with the help of the community and her friend, Levi Ross, Kelsey Ahern plans a fund raiser to restore it. It was a part of her grandmother's passion.
Levi is a very quiet person who helps his family financially while trying to save for a home he wants to buy.
Kelsey and Levi have known each other since school and Levi has had a crush on her.
There is family drama and some emotional parts of this Christian romance book.
As a reader, I was very interested in the lives of the characters.
I will read the first books of the series to know the other characters.
