Diving into this story I knew from the jump it was going to take me on a dark and twisted path that I would devour and I was right. The overall storyline was one that was intriguing and kept you guessing, yet Lakyn left me a little aggravated. After everything she’s been through and was sent off after the fallout of that awful night it’s like she doesn’t learn a lesson nor try to mature any. She is gone for almost a year and when she comes back her gang of friends have missed her, but she still plays games with the guys heads. One minute she lives and breathes for Reign and the next she is off with someone else or stating how she loves them all, it definitely gives you RH vibes even though it’s not. Reign was the one that grabbed my attention and held me captivated. He was mysteriously, strong, and just everything you want that I felt Lakyn didn’t deserve him. The push and pull, mystery with the slasher wondering who is it, and trying to figure out how these spoiled immature kids keep getting away with so much does keep the reader invested that I am dying for the next to see how it all plays out I just hope Lakyn makes a decision and sticks with it for once. When I learned about this book a few months ago. I could not wait to read. A.R has fast become an autoread author for me. As soon as a new book of her's comes out I have to read it. This one was no exception. I literally devoured it in one sitting. I was getting I Know What You Did Last Summer horror slasher film vibes.

Talk about hyped up male testosterone. There was plenty of it. Although my favorite is "Him". Only because of the mystery surrounding his identity. Oh, and the very intense, hot moments between Him and Lakyn aka Baby Lake. Now that I have finished, I am left anxiously awaiting the next book. Slashers & Secrets is a must, must read! ( )
