The merman is a bit creepy at first but I warmed up to him. Interesting action going on, too. How Ari’s bestie can’t figure out that Ari is sexting it up all over the place is just weird, but I guess we all get busy sometimes and lose focus on our friends and family around us. At least Ari gets to cross yet another supernatural monster off her Fuck It list. Anyway, this series is one of my favorites and I can’t wait to continue.

This is very nearly the monster that makes Ari go nope nope nopity nope. She doesn’t like snakes. Like, not at all. But he persuades her back to his place and while things are touch and go at first (mostly she was set to flee), soon she’s getting hot snake cock. Then that ending? Whoa. I need to read the next book fast to see what’s going on with her beloved Guardian!
