It's a well-researched book with a quiet tone that appears to mimic King's message of nonviolence. The realistic illustrations and thoughtful details are my favorite part of the book. The back page explains which scenes from Martin Luther King's life the artwork depicts. Direct quotes from King are in boldface throughout the text. I'd recommend it for young teens. ( )
