I absolutely loved this book and Garrett; he was this secretive guy we didn’t know much about and his secrets kept me intrigued the while time I couldn’t put the book down. Lexie is this sweetheart and has been friends with Garrett for several years since he has friend zoned her, but her attraction to him has never faded so she does all she can just to be the friend he needs. These two are perfect for each other but with all the secrets Garrett has he just can’t risk falling for someone and letting them get close to him, so he keeps everyone from Lexie to his teammates at arm’s length. Lexie has finally had enough and wants to make a move but things don’t work they way she wants so she tries to move on but no one makes her feel the way Garrett does. The back and forth banter these two have is perfection but can they remain friends when feelings become too much? Will secrets come between them or will Garrett finally open up and let Lexie in? An incredibly good book about learning to forgive our past mistakes and trying to move forward. I can’t wait to see more from this group of friends. ( )
