This is definitely one of those short stories that leaves you wanting the next book in the series.   It certainly feels like the beginning of another series like Dead Djinn in Cairo was to the Dead Djinn series: or maybe that's just my rather wishful thinking.

And sadly, i have no more of Djèlí's books to read.   There are a couple of short stories that i haven't managed to get hold of yet, but other than those i've read all of Djèlí's books and can only but sit here and eagerly await more and more and more.
