"Narrative play" is play that is thoroughly sober, especially sober in its use of technology. It is not intended to expand the theory of narrative drama here, nor to discuss it in detail. The discovery and shaping of gestures in narrative drama is by no means changing the key method montage in broadcasting and film from a technical problem to a human problem. The principle of narrative theater, like that of montage, consists in interruptions and nothing more. Just be aware that the interruptions here are not stimulating in nature but educational in nature. It forces the audience to take a stand on events and the actor to take a stand on the character he plays by giving the action a pause in the performance. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña

In this volume we find collected together Benjamin's most sensitive and probing writing on the dramatic and poetic work of his friend and tutor Bertolt Brecht. Benjamin's work still exerts an influence over philosophical and cultural thinking today. No se han encontrado descripciones de biblioteca. |
