I was mad when I first started this just because of how he went about it granted towards the middle he realizes and tries to fix it while simultaneously trying to hide it, and it blows up in his face. I do love some groveling there is minor groveling in this and I loved it. I do feel like there are triggers that need to be thought about in this process, the female main character does deal with her trauma and the main male character realizes and kind of helps her through it while also triggering possible issues. But this book does end with a happy ending and the female main character. She meets her trauma head on and deals with it in a shocking way, that I did not suspect I suspected her trauma would be dealt with in the way it was just not by her and that was amazing.
