If you are in the job market this book is a must. All the tricky questions that are asked in interviews are here - with good stock replies. Questions to look out for and how to reply. And most of all the famous question: Is there anything you would like to ask us:...........yes they are in here too. My daughter used one from here - she got the job and they said that her question was very interesting! ( )

The author goes through all stages of finding a job, from clarifying your aims, job search, CVs to negotiating an offer - and of course tough interview questions.... lots of them.
The book is overly verbose in listing about any form of "tough" interview question and answers, so after a while it begins to feel a bit repetitive. Nevertheless you get a feeling what the different questions are meant to reveal to the interviewer.
A word of caution - the intended audience for this book is clearly North American; you can very easily come across as too slick if you follow all the advice in the book if you are living somewhere else. Nevertheless an interesting read and I'd recommend it to everyone who's looking for a job - do yourself a favour and read it _before_ you start. ( )

Patronising, annoying, occasionally to be taken with a pinch of salt (and slice of lemon and short of tequila) but very effective. If you're job hunting, read this book.
10 years later EDIT: The twatiest thing I have ever read, remains effective though. ( )
