Pigeon is so excited to ride the roller coaster! But will it meet all of his many expectations?

This silly, witty, and fun picture book by Mo Willems is perfect for anyone in your life who needs a little encouragement to conquer their fears. Pigeon hypes himself up to ride a scary roller coaster and is filled with much anxiety and has many questions. When Pigeon finally rides, it turns out, the roller coaster wasn't so scary after all!

I wish I had this book when I was younger. The world is a scary place to a child (rightfully so), and I could of used some reassurance from Pigeon that I took could overcome my fears! ( )

While I love Pigeon, I must say I am unsure about this latest offering from Mo Willems. Perhaps it is due to the fact that it's more ambiguous to audiences. Kiddos get the excitement of a roller coaster but then, just as it falls flat for Pigeon, the book, well, it doesn't go anywhere/

I try my best to turn it into a "still having fun even when something is different that you expected" type of deal. But that can only work so much.

It's also interesting. I do feel as if Kindergarten kiddos enjoy Elephant and Piggie more than they do the Pigeon. ( )

A classic children book. A pigeon takes on daily human tasks but it is almost impossible and that's what makes these stories so unique.

The Pigeon is characteristically full of feelings about riding the roller coaster for the first time...but the roller coaster proves a bit underwhelming. Nevertheless, Pigeon is excited to ride again! ( )
