Everyone would like Anna and Tom's life. A creative work without too many constraints; a bright, plant-filled Berlin apartment; a passion for food and progressive politics; a relationship open to sexual experimentation, to evenings that end late in the morning. A limpid and seductive everyday life like a timeline of photographs taken with care. But off-screen dissatisfaction grows as deep as it is difficult to focus on. The work becomes repetitive. Friends return to their homeland. The attempt at political commitment is extinguished in a generic momentum. Years go by.
