Tried twice to get into this book - and nearly gave up, but third attempt did work, after a fashion. After greatly enjoying the author's first book Skyfaring, which communicates his deep love of flying, this book disappointed in that regard. Only later in the did aspects of flying seem to compete adequately with commentary about various cities, etc. ( )
