I knew from the previous book and the quick glimpse we got to see of this story that Nico was going to break my heart and boy I was right. Nico and Becca had this amazing friendship that ended up being more and together they just fit. They have known each other and work closely together for a long time, but it was just like one day they saw each other, and something clicked in place to where they wanted more. Nico was amazing, kind of cocky, owner of the Dallas hockey team he works hard, and no one understands this more than Becca, so they are a perfect fit. Becca not only works as much as Nico, but she also isn’t clingy and understands that sometimes they have to do what is right for them and for that Nico falls even harder for her. I don’t want to spoil anything because things happen that will shatter your heart and it should be something experienced for every reader because the author has a way of writing that you can feel the character’s pain and heartbreak. I loved this story so much because as much as it did break my heart for them it also healed it too. Another great story in this series and can’t wait to see what’s next. ( )
