HTML: Detective Gabriel McRay investigates a cold case from 1988 involving a missing teenager named Nancy Lewicki. Evidence is sparse and Gabriel has no leads. Much to his dismay, a celebrity psychic, Carmen Jenette, hypes the unsolved case on her television show. Gabriel warns Carmen not to interfere. Meanwhile, strange dreams of water and corpses haunt Gabriel's sleep. They unnerve him as he plans his wedding to LA County Medical Examiner, Dr. Ming Li. When the psychic's life is threatened, Gabriel connects the dots back to the missing girl and realizes his cold case is burning hot. Someone doesn't want Nancy found and will kill to keep her hidden. The 4th in the multiple-award-winning series of author Laurie Stevens, who Suspense Magazine says, in regards to writing thrillers, is "the leader of the pack." Go on. Get hooked on the best of psychological suspense. .No se han encontrado descripciones de biblioteca. |

In Twilight’s Hush is everything a crime novel should be, blending grounded elements with a touch of the supernatural and well-rounded characters to tell a straightforward yet unpredictable story. I especially love Stevens’ detailed yet well-paced writing style, distinct collection of characters, and well-balanced subplots scattered throughout the book. I devoured it quickly and am sure will be returning to this series again in order to catch up with past character development and to see what other mysteries this series has to offer.
