"Taboo romance at its best! LESSONS IN SIN is another dark masterpiece by Pam Godwin!" - JB Salsbury, New York Times bestselling author As Father Magnus Falke, I suppress my cravings. As the headteacher of a Catholic boarding school, I'm never tempted by a student. Until her... I became a priest to control my impulses. Then I meet Tinsley Constantine. The bratty princess challenges my rules and awakens my dark nature. With each punishment I lash upon her, I want more. In my classroom, private rectory, and bent over my altar, I want all of her. There's no absolution for the things I've done. One touch risks everything I stand for. My faith. My redemption. And even my life. As if that could stop me. I need her pain, and her heart, and she needs my lessons in sin. "Pam once again blends sensuality with sin and delivers a scorching hot romance. I feel like I sinned with every page! 5 delicious, devious stars!" - Pepper Winters, New York Times, Wall Street Journal, and USA Today bestselling author "LESSONS IN SIN is problematic, inappropriate, and blasphemously delicious. Pam Godwin writes unapologetically and from a place of primal desire. Enter all sinners." - CJ Roberts, New York Times and USA Today bestselling author of Captive in the Dark "Forbidden desire sparked into a blazing inferno in Lessons in Sin. I couldn't turn the pages fast enough." - Aleatha Romig, New York Times bestselling author "Always a master at her craft, Pam delivers the familiar and forbidden in a new light. Lessons in Sin is unexpected, sexy, and completely addictive." - Jewel E. Ann, USA & Wall Street Journal bestselling author "Godwin weaves themes of temptation, seduction, honor, and salvation with profound talent and emotion. A sinfully delicious and utterly captivating read." - Adriane Leigh, USA Today bestselling author… (más)

i gotta keep marinating on this one. i had fun but i was let down by the direction their relationship went in. was hoping for some serious bdsm, and instead he just like choked her a tiny bit. and i know pam godwin is capable of some dark shit, so why was this so bizarrely vanilla?? (not me calling a relationship between a priest and his student vanilla ( )

4 Stars
Good and intense.
Some things that didn't sit quite right with me.
Apparently this is part of a multi author series where every book is Stand alone. Not sure how they connect and doubt I will read any of the other authors stories.

Sweet Holy titfire...

If I was still a practicing Catholic, I would need to be in confession atoning for my sins after reading this book. I have been around from the beginning reading all of these interconnected stories. Up to this point, the Morelli's were winning as being my favorite family of characters to root for. I still hate Caroline with a passion, but move over, Keaton and Winston because your sister has taken the top spot with a little help from Father Magnus.

I am not sure I can even do a review that would give this justice. All I can say is that there is a reason that this author is one of the best out there. She took taboo to a whole new level. I have to admit, I am a little disappointed that none of the priests when I was going to catechism classes, attending private school, and attending mass looked anything like Magnus which is probably a good thing since I already was rebelling at being forced to being Catholic. BUT, I sure wish they were like him because he was DELICIOUS and would have made those years go by so much faster. It also would have been fuel for the jill bank.

The author did a great job building characters that had depth. She created a plausible storyline that worked well with small cameos or mentions of other characters that have been pivotal in the Midnight Dynasty world. She built the anticipation between the characters in such a way that I wanted to, both, be put out of my misery and also wish that it kept building. When the time finally happened, it was so erotic, hot, and taboo. I loved the banter between the characters as they fought against the pull each other had on the other. There was one scene that I have never seen in a book, that shouldn't have been sexy but sweet holiest of titfires it was. I am not sure I can ever look at that particular necessity that women need the same ever again.

I highly recommend this book. It was taboo in the best of ways. This book is entirely independent and does not need to be read in any order of the Midnight Dynasty world. However, it will likely make you want to go check out the other characters' stories that were written by other authors.

This is the first book I've read by Pam Godwin, but it won't be my last! Lessons in Sin is an age-gap, taboo romance with moderate bully/BDSM features. Tinsley and Magnus are irresistibly drawn to each other despite societal and family issues that threaten to keep them apart. Loved the twist at the end - I didn't see it coming. Looking forward to reading more from this author. ( )
