Some important contributors go unmentioned--Michael Scheuer--whereas other such Bat Yeor are noted. Phares almost seems compelled to note his previous approvingly and consistently. Rightly he can be credited to having insight into the field but it also seems unnecessary to keep referring to his earlier work. The work does have value in considering the ideas against Islamism.
