This was a seriously intense book from the beginning to the end. It kept me on edge, but in the best way, because there were enough dips in the action that it wasn't totally overwhelming.

I think that this one was darker and more intense than the first book, which makes sense because of the way that the overall story is working. I can't wait to see where it's going to go next.

I really think that Lane's take on on the Omegaverse is unique. It's not one I've seen before, and I really like how it works.

This is definitely a great sophomore book. ( )
