Meet Mars! The red planet. Planet Marvelous. Favorite sibling of Earth (or so he claims). Sometimes they're close (just 34.5 million miles apart). Sometimes they need space (250 million miles apart)! Earth and Mars have a lot in common--clouds, mountains, polar icecaps. And while Earth has Earthlings, Mars makes a persuasive case for why people should make the journey to spend time with him. His day is 7 minutes longer! He is home to the largest volcano in the whole solar system. He's, well, marvelous.… (más)

1.This would be a great book to use during a planetary/space unit for intermediate students.
2.This book compares and contrasts planets but in a fun way. It explains how there is not as much oxygen in the atmosphere of Mars so you would have to bring some but it explains that in a fun and entertaining way.
3.This book is amazing and very useful and informational. I could use almost every page of this book as a learning lesson because of how informational and accurate this book is.

This book is for intermediate level readers. It is about Mars giving out invitations for humans to come and spend time on Mars. It is also education about the planet and its history as well as our past missions to know more about Mars.

This book seems to be tailored towards a primary level. It's a book about the planet Mar's and how Mar's wants people from Earth to come live on it. The book gives a lot of information about space and specifically Mar's. I would use this book in either a first or second grade classroom and reference it for science lessons. ( )

This was a really cute idea. This picture book about mars is an advertisement why we humans should come and visit. It reminds we of the old Disney shorts from the 60s’. Similar to like Goofy Learns to swim. It works really well, the illustrations are lively, and kids will want to read this. It feeds the want for fiction with the need for non-fiction. ( )
