Age appropriateness: Early to middle elementary Review: This book is an example of poetry. It includes rhyme throughout and expresses ideas about trees and the changing of seasons through the words. It tells a tale of what trees can give to the world It is rhythmical and has a flow to the text. Media: Acrylic The poem "Trees" talks about different thing trees do for the world. "Trees are the kindest thing I know. They do not harm, they just simply grow." This is a part of the peom that really touched me. It goes on to explain how trees give cows shade form the sun. They produce fruit and wood for the houses. Then their leaves fall and produce new buds of green in the spring. This poem explains briefly what trees do for our world. Growing up I always loved looking at all the trees in the yard. Everwhere you looked there was always a tree. Birds would sit underneath and rest in the branches. Since this poem is about nature students wouldn't like this poem. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
