An enjoyable 'adventure' about gangs, sort of, in NYC based on a novel by a pseudo-Marxist, which highlighted more the structural causes of gang life in poverty and hopelessness, which are glossed over in the movie for the most part but powerfully alluded to by the woman in the final scenes as she sits dirty across the subway from some carefree, cavorting youth dressed in white, one of whom drops her prom flower thingy, which a guy then picks up for the woman and it's very touching. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña

2.5/4 (Okay).
The ridiculous costumes are really all this movie has, but that's almost enough to make it entertaining. ( )
