Kyle Maynard is an congenital amputee that has become a recognised sports man. It is the brave story of a boy that was born without arms or legs, and how he overcomes to all the problems that life makes him face. It is a impressing and motivational story in which you will feel like overcoming all the problems that life brings to you.

Another inspirational book that I just finished is "No Excuses" by Kyle Maynard.

This is a true story of a congenital amputee who became a champion in wrestling and in life. It is hard to believe that someone with no arms past his elbow and only stumps for legs can be such an effective wrestler. I believe this book could be very inspirational to youth and young men especially. Men would relate (better than I) to the competitive nature of a person like Kyle, as well as his drive to push himself beyond the limits.

To have accomplished all that he has done in his short life (he was born in 1986) is definitely worthy of praise. In 2005 he broke the world record in modified bench press by lifting 340 lbs, 3 times his body weight!

I found the book interesting and I certainly give Kyle a lot of credit, however, it was just a little TOO much wrestling info for me. (I don't even LIKE wrestling).

No Excuses is certainly a good title for his book. ( )

This is an autobiography of Kyle Maynard, who was born a congenital amputee and overcame those obstacles to become a champion wrestler and later on wrestled for the University of Geaorgia. ( )
