Every time I sit down to read a book in this series, I am automatically blown away with it all. The attention to detail, the action, making a family out of misfits, and trying to find hope in the darkest of places all of it is in the heart of this series. This story follows Q and Graham, they both have been broken and shattered beyond any human should ever be. Graham has found some solace in the family that is Hidden Agenda while Q is struggling with finding a life away from the trauma and pain. My heart hurt for both guys, but the author writes a brilliant story for them. Q is essentially in hiding but fate intervenes when for the first time he calls out for help and Graham enters his life. I don’t want to give too much away about their story because it is so tragically beautiful, yet can they let go of past pains and help mend each other? Or will they let the fear they hold on to ruin it before it even begins? This story like I said was tragic yet beautiful and the author handled sensitive matters delicately. Reading this made my heart hurt for them yet I saw the bravery from all different sides. Sometimes being brave isn’t about being the strongest, it isn’t about doing hero things, sometimes bravery can be as simple as getting up each day when the struggle to give up is there. “Two broken people whose jagged edges align.” ( )
