No seriously I absolutely love him even if he comes off as the bad boy with an attitude that doesn’t care about anything except his loyalty to his family, I knew deep down there was more to him than meets the eye. Don’t get me wrong he still had no problem defending those he loved even if it meant eliminating the threat by any means necessary, but I could tell he had a soft spot that no one had ever really seen until Camille. I loved we got to see more of the families from this series and the threats/obstacles they are all facing, and I just loved the fierceness Nero exuded all the time. He is a genius in disguise only loving making money, protecting family, and working on his cars. Nero is the ultimate bad boy, cocky jerk but he is so much more. Camille was a hard worker that did everything in her power to help her family. She worked to keep family shop up and going, she did everything possible to make sure her brother stayed out of trouble and able to go to college, and she protected them all when needed. While she was almost the same as Nero I kind of was hoping that we got someone softer for Nero, not that I didn’t like Camille she was great, but I wanted someone who could love his craziness, family/lifestyle, yet bring more softness out of him that I knew was there. I just found it hard to connect with Camille at times, even if I loved her character there just seemed something to be missing and I felt Nero needed something else. They worked well together and I loved that but I can’t wait to read about Dante. Nero is everything and more! They did a really good job with the enemies to lovers trope. Throw in a drug bust and a bank heist and illegal car racing and you’ve got yourself a pretty good story. My one complaint, which drops down to a three instead of a four, is that the end was kind of rushed. Then it just kind of fizzled out. Some things didn’t really get wrapped up. I'm a bit disappointed with Savage Lover because I started it with really high expectations. My main issue is the plot and the pace. The first half was a bit slow to my liking and the plot felt rushed and I missed the mafia side in this one because it was pretty normal apart of the robbery at the end that honestly I wasn't that invested in it. But bright side! Camille's character was so refreshing, sweet and bossy in an unconventional way, and I had a thing for Nero since book #1 so it's no surprise that I loved him so much. I also loved their chemistry and I think they are the best couple the series so far but I wish there were more moments between them, more conversations, more banter, just moooore because it felt rushed how their relationship developed. I blame it on the few weeks off scene that followed their first heart-to-heart, I really wanted to see what happened on those weeks first hand! Overall, I didn't dislike it. It was still enjoyable and I'm definitely not giving up the series. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña

Two people convinced they're unworthy of love...until they meet each other. Camille Rivera is drowning. Her father's sick, her brother's in deep with a dirty cop, and her mechanic shop is failing. She's growing desperate, trying to keep her world afloat in whatever way she can. Nero Gallo is the neighborhood hazard. A mess-maker. A walking disaster. Camille has watched him burn through every girl in a ten-mile radius, as vicious as he is gorgeous, breaking hearts and never, ever getting attached. Which is why she can't believe it when Nero unexpectedly saves her from a risky situation. They've lived next to each other their whole lives, yet she's only ever known him as sin made flesh. Is it possible she didn't really know him at all? They aren't friends. They aren't allies. But Nero is the only chance Camille has, and she'll have to trust there's more to him beneath the savage surface. Except trust is a dangerous thing to give. And Camille is about to learn the only thing more dangerous than trusting Nero is falling for him. No se han encontrado descripciones de biblioteca. |

I especially like that the two main characters did not resist their attraction to one another for too long. I am a sucker for "enemies-to-lovers" but sometimes the author keeps us in "enemies" territory for too long I get bored (and this isn't really enemies-to-lovers more "acquaintances-to-bickering-flirtations-to-lovers"). ANYWAY - I like when readers are shown the connection of the soon-to-be-lovers early on. ( )
