The blurbs did not lie when they said it was stunning. Laura Hollingsworth has outdone herself. The short story. It was pretty interesting to find out what Keefe's new ability was, as well as some other developments that I won't name due to spoilers. What I Didn't Like: Oh, just the first 500 pages or so. Seriously. It was a recap of all the events that has previously transpired in the form of government documents and things— meaning, things that WE ALREADY KNOW. I appreciate Shannon Messenger's concern (after all, readers might have forgotten some things from earlier books considering the length and mind-numbing dullness of Flashback and the less boring but still far too long Legacy) but that's what we have the wiki page for. I didn't buy 8.5, I borrowed it from the library, but those who intend to may want to rethink it. Let's end this review off with one of my favourite quotes from the book and my reaction: "... the Lost Cities are famous for their desserts (and their candies!)" lmao famous where sin reseñas | añadir una reseña

"In this extra special installment of the Keeper of the Lost Cities series, the story picks up right from Legacy's particularly devastating cliffhanger. But chapters alternate between Sophie and Keefe's perspectives to give readers deeper insights into both beloved characters. New powers will be discovered. Hard truths from the past will come to light. And all of your favorite characters will find themselves tested in ways they never imagined"-- No se han encontrado descripciones de biblioteca. |
