( ) This easy reader graphic novel is told in three almost connected stories. Mac and Mac are pasta siblings and are about to stumble upon something lucky or Lucky to be more exact. Mama noodle is keeping bees which is a story in itself and Mac and Mac decide they want a pet like mama. They decide on a kitten. Meatball, a maybe friend, takes advantage of their naïveté and convince the siblings they can hatch a kitten from a watermelon. So he sells them a watermelon which they diligently sit on until the watermelon slips out and rolls down the hill. Not to make a short story long... they get their kitten and the naming part is hilarious due to the cat’s expressions of maybe pity or disgust. When Mom says that the kitten is lucky to have her sons as caregivers, they fasten on the right name and shout: “We got Lucky!” Experienced and talented Arnold’s paneled cartoons extend the silliness. It’s always fun when the reader is a little smarter than the characters in the story. As with the FlyGuy series, I think we will have the opportunity to laugh at many mire antics with The Noodleheads. This is the fifth installment. Graphic early reader. 6-8) sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
