This is a must-have for Alto sacred harp singers. The arrangements are often slightly different from the Denson book, and many (if not most) of the Alto parts are completely different and awesome. Many Alto parts are written by women, and are sometimes much more singable than those in the Denson book. Some are also not as interesting, but they're fun anyway. As far as I know the Treble, Tenor & Bass parts are the same. Also contains songs not in the Denson book.

I'm editing this to mention that since attending a singing school by singing master Tollie Lee, I have learned that there are subtle differences in the bass parts, but I'm not sure if they're actually written into the songs. Many songs have bass parts with customarily-sung "grace notes" which seem to be great fun for the basses. :) ( )
