The hero here marries the woman who has been caring for his dead sister's child in order to keep control of the boy and also the shares that the boy and the heroine inherited from the sister. But he kind of sneaks that by the heroine. This book is mostly about seduction. There's a lot of her saying no and him seducing her anyway. Here I felt though that it really was seduction rather than any real non consensual stuff. Very determined seduction but still... You could tell he was falling for her and was pretty much all in to make their marriage work. He didn't have a lot to apologize for at the end but he did a nice job with the apologies anyway.
