I know some people love this troupe but it's really not one of my favourites, in fact I misunderstood the premise or I probably wouldn't have read it. When I read in the previous book that Katherine was continuing the road trip I thought she would leave Cash behind, meet someone new who swept her off her feet and return home with her new beau and Cash could rue the day he hadn't made a move but had flaunted other women in her face. But alas no, Cash insists on going along with her, for safety, I'm sorry but I just would have insisted he stay behind under the circumstances of the feelings of the heroine and the whole idea is to move on with her life. That said the story is well written. A few interesting issues raised. No intimate scenes other than the Hero and heroine. If you like this troupe I'm sure you will enjoy it. For the safety gang. During their friendship. Heroine POV, the Hero and heroine share a house. "Have you, um, talked to Cash?” Gemma asked. “About the trip?” “No. He didn’t come home on Friday.” Or last night." Easton, Cash and I didn’t bring dates to family dinner because unless it was serious, you came alone. Last Friday, Cash had brought Dany, a pretty blonde I’d known for years, to dinner. All through dinner, Cash had been enamored with Dany. Laughing. Whispering. Touching. Hero POV He wasn't with another woman. He says he's on a dry spell. "But I hadn’t dated in a while—a long while—and she was pretty, on the outside. Thankfully, I’d dodged a bullet. Hell, we hadn’t even slept together." They broke up straight away over the fact he had a female roommate. But he does say she left his ranch after the argument so to me he'd taken he back there so maybe the intention had been there, thought he never says that... Idk.... When they originally met... "Any plans I’d had about hitting on her, asking her out, had flown out the window. And I’d definitely wanted to ask her out. But it had been for the best. A relationship on the ranch would only lead to disaster. We saw enough of that with the staffers. There’d be flings and hookups, and inevitably, one or both of the involved parties would quit. I’d resented my family some at first for dictating the type of relationship I had with Kat, limiting my options. Over the years, I’d become grateful. We were too good of friends to risk losing it all. My family had been right to discourage me from pursuing her." So the family love her to death so much so they view her as part of the family. They warned him off her years ago. The family all know she's in love with him and is hurt with his parade of girlfriends but they don't intervene and explain to her or him at any point. I find this ridiculous. Breadcrumbs dropped for future books in series. HEA. Epilogue. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña

I loved everything about this friends to lovers romance as well as another adventure for these amazing six friends. There is something special about these friends. Their tumultuous friendship formed a connection that is rare. Kat's story hurt a little at how lonely she was. I'm glad she had the friendship with Cash to find her happiness.
Looking forward to the next adventure with Aria. ( )
