I love the idea of the big bad biker mechanic being tamed by a sweet baby girl and her daddy, because that's pretty much exactly what happened here. Maverick and Jonah had a bumpy road, and there were times I didn't think they would make it, but their journey was completely necessary to get to where they were supposed to be. I'm looking forward to seeing what's coming. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña

I didn't like this one quite as much as the previous three books but I still really enjoyed it. This one was definitely more focused on the main two characters, Maverick and Jonah, as well as Jonah's daughter Grace and that meant it lacked a little bit of the exciting plot that the other books had. It was really only in the last 25% where there was really any plot excitement and I kind of wanted a little more. I was also a little bit more frustrated with the will they, won't they in this book. i think this is because there was less plot stuff to distract me. I also missed the club dynamic in this book. Though all the other characters are still around there's a lot less because Maverick has his own shop and Jonah is an outsider. I would have loved see a bit more of the club dynamic in this one.
As far as the relationship went I thought it was pretty good. I don't mind kids in romances and I thought Grace was a cute addition to this story. I thought our villain was pretty good and created good conflict for the characters but all the action at the end happened so quickly it became a little unbelievable, but not to the point where I thought people were super out of character. I liked that the trauma of being in an abusive relationship wasn't completely swept under the rug but I do think some people might find that Jonah was too trusting of Maverick too quickly.
This was a book I was looking forward to and overall I was very satisfied with what I got. The teaser for the next book didn't intrigue me as much as the one's in the previous book have but given how much I've enjoyed this series so far, I don't doubt that I will continue along as these books come out.
