In the Kingdom of Wanderly everyone wants to be Triumphant, everyone except Pippa North. She likes her life and wants to be with her family. She decides to write a fairy god mother to help her return to her family. The only problem is the Winds of Wanderly have other ideas and her letter ends up in the hands of Oliver Dash who has spent his whole life waiting for his magician’s hat that has never come. Oliver comes to realize that he really needs to help Pippa and find his storybook ending. Pippa is going to remind everyone what a true hero looks like as she goes through her journey to being the best triumphant she can be. I would recommend this for any collection. It reminds me of the Harry Potter series. Children just reading that series will enjoy this second book about Wanderly. This is a stand alone story and can be read before or after the first book about Wanderly and all of its magical inhabitants. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña

HTML: An enchanting, clever, and whimsical fairy tale sure to charm fans of Adam Gidwitz and Shannon Hale. In the storybook kingdom of Wanderly, everyone wants to be a Triumphant: the kingdom's most glorious heroes. Everyone except Pippa North, who is quite happy with her perfectly common family. No one in Wanderly wants to be a magician, would-be villains who are nothing more than nuisances. But Oliver Dash wants it more than anything in the world. When Pippa is swept away to the Triumphant academy, and Oliver finds himself in danger of flunking out as a magician, a wayward wish puts them on opposite ends of a villainous schemeâ??and plunges Pippa into an adventure that will make the whole kingdom ask what it really means to be a hero. Full of humor, magic, and heart, this Triumphant adventure is a stand-alone companion to The Tragical Tale of Birdie Bloom, which bestselling author Liesl Shurtliff called "the most charming book, footnotes and all!"
