We know how slow turtles walk. This book traverses through the seasons....leaves and flowers and pumpkins....until we arrive at a snow with a hill. The end brought a smile to my face.

This book is about a family of turtles that embark on an adventure together. While the young turtles are eager to get to their destination, the older turtles explain that turtles walk nice and slow and enjoy the walk. ( )

I wish the book gave a nod to real turtle science, as it almost does, at the beginning. ( )
