Thanks for the review copy ( )Esta reseña ha sido escrita por los Primeros Reseñadores de LibraryThing. This book was an excellent read! Did I say it's also an easy read? It has an abundance of practical tools and resources that could be used to help increase your management skills. Who wouldn't want tools and resources to begin utilizing immediately? Being able to understand and manage your team is essential. Self-reflection is very important. If you are experiencing a high turnover rate, I would definitely recommend this book to help reflect on your leadership position. An abundance of people quit a job because of leadership. If you are wondering how to "up" your leadership skills, you need to grab a copy of this book. This book is so good! I don’t usually rejoice over business books but I love this. Most books I read are theoretical. That’s great for philosophy but it’s the last thing I want in a business book I want to be able to open it, read for a couple minutes, and get something I can use. I love this book because it allows me to do that. The advice is a mixture of tested wisdom and original thinking. Really a must-read for any current or future leader Esta reseña ha sido escrita por los Primeros Reseñadores de LibraryThing. As a new manager, I found this book full of practical information. Even if you are versed in the business world " Your Team.." still holds gems to improve the way you manage from how to give advice, to causes of associate burnout. I will definitely return to this book to work through some of the thought exercises, and rewrite onboarding guides for new associates. The only section I found slightly confusing was on manger priorities. I found I had keep flipping back pages to remind myself what the priorities were for each, and how this played out in manager and associate fit. A good read for managers who are new, or those who want to a refresh.Esta reseña ha sido escrita por los Primeros Reseñadores de LibraryThing. This is an ebook. It is well written and has good advice. I appreciate the insights into personalities and into best practices on onboarding and outboarding employees. I also thought the section on career sabotage and promotion were interesting. I liked this book and recommend it to managers. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
