For starters I am not keen on a Hero or heroine becoming intimate with the sibling of a previous lover.
This story is a case of mistaken identity so it's the sister of the wife who is the 'wife' who has forgotten her husband.
The husband knows his 'wife' was cheating on him with several men and is in the process of divorcing her when he gets news of the accident.
All I can say is he must have been a saint to even consider taking her back.
He just didn't seem the type to be that type of doormat.
Speaking of doormats, the heroine is walked all over by her sister, in the brief scenes we have of them together at the beginning.
When they discover the truth it just didn't work for me.
HEA.
