I really liked this book because I think it showed that there are things that each person can do, not specifically Native Americans, to be kind to others and to themselves. Some of the things talked about in the book were sharing with friends, getting a good night's sleep, being respectful to elders, and more. This would be a good book for early primary students. It is a fairly short book that doesn't go into depth of Native American culture so I think it would be a good starting book into Native American culture in early education classrooms. This book is about being kind to others and yourself. It gives examples of being respectful while also illustrating Native American culture. It is a really short book and would be great for early readers. The book does not specifically talk about Native American culture, but it is represented within the illustrations. Great for primary students! Smith portrays different kind acts and how they make people feel. An excellent storytime book or one-on-one book, to explore the questions: What do you see happening in this picture? What do you notice? When have you done something kind for someone, or someone has done something kind for you? #OwnVoices sin reseñas | añadir una reseña

This is a story about being kind, and it features Indigenous children in it. It's great to see more diversity in children's books, especially with a book that displays it in such a great way. Showing that kindness is important and can be shown in many ways is a lovely message and theme for the book.
Five out of five stars.
