Fifty-two pages jam packed with useful basic information about quilt construction.I'd had the book only a few days, when I picked it up to find the sizes of single and queen mattresses. That is one of the four topics covered under the first section, Bed/Quilt Sizes. Next is Straight-Set Quilts, with five topics: Number of Blocks Needed, Inches Added by Sashing, Quilt Size (6" - 12" Blocks), Quilt Size (14" - 24" Blocks), Number of Sashing and Cornerstones Needed. Diagonal-Set Quilts, with six topics, follows that. And on and on, for a total of 8 sections and 53 different topics. The numbers you need include number conversions, yardage requirements, supplies, and piecing. A very useful reference.
